The classic underdog story. Who doesn’t love one of those. Dorsia, a little dream dreamt up in the mind of a sixteen-year-old boy, now a steadfast ark on seismic waters. Dorsia Inc., a Colombo-based creative media agency, now works with some of Sri Lanka’s top brands in multiple industries; Tokyo Cement – a leading cement manufacturer, Alerics – Sri Lanka’s oldest Ice cream brand, Vintage Teas – one of Sri Lanka’s Largest Tea exporters, Good PR – a major PR agency just to name a few.
After working on several major branding projects and retainer-based work for clients of a much smaller scale at just seventeen alongside his Advanced Levels, Inuka de Silva felt the urge to take on bigger and better bites; sometimes (most times) a little more than he could chew. After gathering a few like-minded mates of immense skill and proficiency, Dorsia debuts at the start of 2022; making it little over a year old.
Despite it being in its infancy, Dorsia’s growth has been exponential. Primarily covering work in ROI-optimized designs, niche-styled photography and high-conversion videography, they have now expanded into fields of social media management, competitive ad campaigns, AI-automation systems and much more.
Dorsia now spirals up with a hyper-efficient team of only nine, having worked with over fifty brands in just the past year, they’ve set themselves a blazing trail ahead.
A word from Inuka, “None of this, nothing at all; would’ve been possible on my own. If there’s one thing I’ve realized as a necessity in the long run, its to build brilliant teams you can count on. First off, I’d like to thank my parents who have supported me all the way. My brethren; Kais, Tanulaka, Vihangi, Chirantha, Leyana, Aaishah and Tiasha, thank you for being Dorsia’s brain and brawl. Thank you to all our brilliant clients, a great many I am always grateful for; for the trust and confidence in us despite our age. Finally, thank you Ms. Nevindee from Good PR for taking the initiative to bring us into this public space solely out of your kindness and respect.”
