The Bilesma Natural concept was developed in 2020 to address the arrival of large volumes of
imported cosmetics flooding the Sri Lankan market. It is a lesser-known fact that most imported
skin care products contain harmful ingredients such as Mercury, Led, Cadmium, Arsenic and
other bleaching substances. Using such products also do not have a registered importer who
will bear the responsibility and can be held accountable in case of unfortunate side effects of
