Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS), one of the fastest growing education providers in Sri Lanka, successfully conducted ‘Imperial Night’, a night of fun, friendship, and fabulous moments for its undergraduate students at the Hilton Colombo.
Due to the pandemic and the economic difficulties prevalent in the island during the past few years, this was the first large gathering organised by the Student Council for all the batches of ICBS since the year 2019. It provided the ideal platform for students to relax and have fun while reconnecting with friends from different batches, away from the stresses of academic life. Following the inauguration of the night with a speech by ICBS Chairman Sivabaskaran Shanmugam, each batch was presented with the opportunity to deliver a dance or musical performance for the audience after which the best-performing batch was selected by a panel of judges and presented with valuable gifts. After the crowning of the Imperial King and Queen of the evening, the night continued with a sumptuous dinner and dancing till the early hours of the morning. The event received exceptional reviews from all participants and the Student Council came in for special praise for its hard work in making the night a memorable one for all.
