Insight 2024, the flagship corporate event organized by AIESEC in University of Colombo, concluded with resounding success on 1st of November. This eighth edition brought together approximately 150 delegates, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas, experiences, and insights among students, undergraduates, and esteemed professionals.
The event featured a dynamic array of activities, including insightful keynote addresses, an engaging panel discussion, and skill-focused sessions. The online session before the event was led by Treasurex Melchoir, an AI expert with over 25 years of experience, was a highlight. He emphasized the growing importance of AI integration and literacy in corporate careers, equipping participants with knowledge about future-ready skills.
The keynote speech by Fahad Farook, a transformative coach and public speaking expert, inspired attendees to embrace their potential and build their corporate identities from scratch. His practical insights into starting and excelling in the corporate world resonated deeply with the audience.
The panel discussion brought together industry leaders like Santhush Ratnasinghe, Inthikab Zufer, Dulinda Perera, and Lydia Mascarenhas, who shared their expertise on essential corporate skills. These professionals, with diverse backgrounds in branding, academia, entrepreneurship, and human resources, offered invaluable advice on navigating the modern workplace.
